After producing 24 winners at stud in his first year Lilbourne Lad has fallen a little Out of Fashion as a Sire. This is mostly because while good at producing winners there are not many Superstars amongst them. Having said that Lilbourne Lad’s progeny are proving very popular in the Middle East. The Dam Sacred Love has foaled 4 winners of 14 races and 26 places.
He has been in training for a couple of months now and showing all the right signs, he went particular well in a recent racecourse gallop at the Curragh, he will be ready to run as soon as the 2 Year Old flat races start. Given the Sire and Dam’s record at producing winners you would be hopeful this fella would be getting involved sooner rather than later, given his relatively modest purchase price he could prove a super fun horse as he will be racing imminently.
